BOOK FEST EVENT BRAND DESIGN
Librex is one of the biggest book festivals in Romania and I am proud to present here my contribution to the 22nd edition, back in 2014, when I lead the design team. A diverse mix of writers, publishers and readers engaging in a variety of events, talks and activities - the challenge in creating the branding for this event was to capture the essence of the festival in a single image. The image of a book being held by a hand is meant to evoke the presence of the reader and suggest the interactive nature of the event. This was accompanied by graphite portraits of the participating writers, all underpinned by the background colour of PANTONE 1245C signifying a sense of sophistication. It is one of the biggest scale projects I'm proud to have been part of, and the final result was for me, ironically, beyond words!
